$1000 vs $10 DRAWING PROGRAM?

My Digital Art Class; http://skl.sh/2gsiYhx

Today I tested $1000 drawing program Adobe Photoshop to $10 Ipad Pro app Procreate to see how they compare! Is it a cheaper alternative or is photoshop better? If you’re looking for an alternative, or to see the difference between cheap and expensive drawing programs and apps, watch this video!

  1. I use ibis paint x which is a new app to me, and it also allows you to use layers, select, color-pick, etc, it also automatically makes a speedpaint as you draw, which is how I make my speedpaint son my channel. It’s epic. I rlly do wish I could get procreate tho, cuz I feel like it has more brushes and stuff:P

  2. If you're still a beginner you should try Krita. It's a free program for wimdows and I think Mac too. It has most of the features of Photoshop and Procreate, so I would really like to see what you think of it.

  3. If your iPad is not pencil supported, wacom fineline and sketch work as a third-party stylus on procreate and work very well! Just no palm regection so cover your drawing hand if you tend to drag on the screen!

  4. If u love photoshop then try ArtStudio Pro. It has better brush engine and way more features than Procreate, almost same as PS and …. SUPPORT PHOTOSHOP BRUSHES!!!!!!!! Simply send abr file on ur iPad, open in ASP and enjoy.

  5. I've been a loyal PaintShop Pro user for years, never liked PhotoShop. However, I have fallen in love with the free open source program Krita. It's quite a powerful program and works wonderfully with my Huion tablet and pen. It's definitely my go to program for digital art. I highly recommend it. Also, PhotoShop brushes can be imported to it. 😊
