  1. Hey Kris, thumbs up for showing a use case for chntpw. There is a way to change the registry without the GUI in windows. If you boot into safe mode with command prompt you can use the "reg.exe" cli program to modify registry values before the complete GUI has been loaded. That said, thank you for the video. Have never gotten myself to use chntpw until now.

  2. I don't use windows since XP. But I can remember there is somewhere a autostart folder.
    In this folder you can put a bat file with a reg add command.
    Goggle for "autostart folder" and "reg add command".
    Anyway the most important command for win is: "format c: -y"

  3. It was a great oppertunity to switch them over to Linux, however it's always hard with relatives. And the fear is that every little thing that they do that does not work exactly like windows you will be getting a call and hearing how bad it is because it does not do it the same way:P
