  1. I dont know how or what happened with this upgrade, but it totally screwed up my customized lubuntu with Cinnamon Mint packages installed on it. After all day of trying to fix things, ended up just reinstalling from usb again. Also I deleted a lot of files somehow with purging or some other command I blindly typed in terminal. Somehow a bunch of dependencies got deleted and reaked havok! Wasn't to familiar with deleting from package manager, my bad! Has anyone else found if they upgrade ubuntu, you might have to repair things with the package manager? Maybe I had better just get the Cinnamon iso next time to start from there. update: I think maybe Linux Mint 2 "Betsy" – Cinnamon (64-bit) may be the answer to some of us trying to get away from ubuntu and try another linux. Trying to avoid constantly having to reinstall ubuntu every six months or so because of PPA issues or updates, etc..!! Thx for reading my story, I still love you Linux and community!
