No Realtek HD Sound Manager in Windows 10? Here’s How to Get It.

If you have a Windows 10 system with Realtek Audio, you’re probably aware that the Realtek Sound Manager isn’t on your system. Earlier drivers (R2.81) are fine, but the R2.82 drivers don’t work.

Never fear, Realtek released new, updated drivers on January 18, 2018 and you can install them on your Windows 10 32bit or 64bit system. And you can use their advanced RealTek Sound Manager to make critical adjustments to your audio system. Enhance your music, video and games experiences by…

  1. Thank you so much again man. Your video truly helped me and solved this problem. Previous drivers won't fixes anything but this one do. Subscribing your channel right now 🙂

  2. Nice video but ONLY installs the driver NOT the realtek panel in my case this video was NOT helpfull. Also there is no proof in the video, "you know I already did that"..Many people have this issue of NOT finding EQ and so on, settings for the Realtek HD audio hardware.

  3. I'm confused. Do I actually need to go to program files and create a new folder in x86 and name it realtek and copy the files from the cab files to that? Does the folder that I create need a specific name?

  4. Worked great on my Windows 7 machine, too. Though I get the older Realtech manager, and not that fancy black colored one.

I had reinstalled Windows on a new drive. For some reason, the driver that I got from my PC's website were too old and didn't have the custom equalizer (unlike the one on my old hard drive). And the one directly from Realtek don't include the audio manager.

But this one worked just fine.

  5. Hi Old Guy Geek on Windows,
I could really use your help.
I have a windows 7 and while trying to fix my microphone, I uninstalled my Realtek Audio Manager (through "Uninstall a program") and I can't get it back, been trying for 3 days now.
I have downloaded the official drives from my computer manufacturer's website however after I install them, the manager is not updated on Device Manager nor on Control Panel.
I tried manually installing it onto Device Manager (via add legacy hardware) yet it gives me a "code 10" error code and a yellow triangle appears next to it.
I have SmartAudio manager as the default audio driver on my computer. Tried uninstalling it through Device Manager a few times but windows will keep reinstalling it after every reboot. (For some reason it won't do it for the Realtek manager, which would have saved me a lot of trouble…)

Anyway, I don't know what to do anymore, I have watched every youtube video about it and so far nothing has worked for me…
Is there anything you can do to help me with this?

  6. Hi, thank you very much for this useful video. I had a problem after following the instructions in the video. My default Speakers/Headphones is "Realtek Audio", and I can hear the sound.

The weird thing is that I can not open the GUI of Realtek HD manager. It's not showed in the control panel. I also tried to double click "C:Program FilesAudioHDARtkNGUI64", nothing happens. Then I checked my process, there is a "Realtek HD Audio Manager" running, but nothing comes up on my screen. Could you please give me some suggestion about how to fix this problem? Thanks!

FYI: The driver version of my Realtek Audio is

  7. Hi,
My Bluetooth headset – Samsung Level U pro – When it's get connected it In principle I got 3 options in the sound bar ,

    2-Headset Hands-Free
    3-Headset Stereo

So please help me what can I do to solve this problem..
